Linking your Royal Caribbean sailings with your friends' sailings

You can link your friends' sailings to your own account, allowing you to view their sailing details and make reservations and bookings for them in the cruise planner or in the app.

Why link your sailings

There are several reasons why you might want to link your friend's sailing to your account. These include:

You want to ensure that you have reservations to the same shows or specialty dining at the same time on the same days
You are organising a larger group of people and want to ensure that you are all doing the same things
You are travelling with family members and want to have the same experiences
You want to purchase an experience as a gift for your friend

How to link your sailings

You can link your friends's sailings to your sailing through the Royal Caribbean website as well as through the Royal Caribbean app.

Royal Caribbean website

When you've logged into your account on the Royal Caribbean website you will see your details, including your name, Crown & Anchor number, Status and upcoming sailings and more. You will also see a link to Add another cruise. Click this link to add your friend's sailing.

Fill in the details about the friend's sailing. You will need the following information about your friend and their sailing and click Continue

Last name
Date of birth
Reservation number

When you view your upcoming sailing you will now see reservation and your friend's reservation

Royal Caribbean app

In the Royal Caribbean app navigate to the Profile page, by clicking the Profile icon at the top right of the main page. On the Profile page, click Select a different cruise.

Scroll to the bottom of the My Trips page unti lyou see Don's see your cruise, and click the link. Fill in the form to link your friend's cruise and click Continue. Your friend's cruise should now be linked to your account.

Restrictions

There are certain restrictions that apply to a linked booking. If you have a friend's booking linked to your account you can make reservations to shows, purchase packages such as dining, drinks or Internet packages. You can also see what purchases and bookings they have made.

You CANNOT remove or change any reservations or purchases that your friend has made on their own booking, you can only make changes that you have yourself added to their booking. Similarly, they cannot remove reservations or purchases that you have made on their booking.

Linking is not reciprocal

When you link your friend's sailing to your account you can access information about your friend's sailing, but they cannot access information about your sailing. They would have to link your sailing to their account to get the same access as you have.
